Haircuts

I offer you a guide to establish your morphological profile, which will help you determine the hairstyle and haircut that will suit you best. Stand in front of your mirror without makeup, with your hair smoothed back, and carefully read the following. There are six main important face shapes (viewed from the front). Ladies, not all of you have round faces as you might imagine! To be certain, follow the analysis below:
The so-called "perfect" face is oval, and that's what we will aim to recreate with our hairstyle. Therefore, we will use our hair to correct the shapes of our faces. Remember, though, that Marilyn Monroe had a squint, Cleopatra had a long nose, and Julia Roberts has a mouth that's disproportionate to the rest of her face! So, you'll understand that certain characteristics of our morphology can be used to our advantage. And that's what we'll do. Utilizing these "flaws" can give us interesting character traits.
In this article:
1 - Round Face
2 - Square Face
3 - Rectangular Face
4 - Diamond Face
5 - Trapezoid Face
6 - Oval Face
7 - Triangular Face
You have an oval face if it's longer than it is wide, with rounded sides. It's sought after for its gentle appearance and perfect balance. Few women have a truly oval face, and rarely does a person have only one face shape. You might find yourself between two shapes, so you need to correct the dominant shape.
"It is said that the woman with an oval face needs to be surrounded and understood."
You have a round face if your length and width are the same, with a rounded shape on the sides. Add volume to the top of your head and keep hair along the sides of your face with minimal volume to counteract roundness. To achieve an oval shape, elongate the face with hair that slightly extends past the jawline.
"It is said that the woman with a round face is blooming and sociable."
You have a square face if your length and width are the same, with straight sides. Add volume to the top, avoid having a flat crown, and create volume on the sides to add a slight roundness. Allow the hair to extend beyond the jawline and give a rounded effect to your hair tips.
"It is said that the woman with a square face is frank and direct."
You have a rectangular face if it's longer than it is wide, with straight sides. A rounded fringe can reduce the length of your face and add softness to your shape. Add slight volume to the top and sides of the head. Avoid overly long hair or hair that extends past the jawline. A well-graduated taper can further soften the face.
"A woman with a rectangular face is said to be unpredictable."
You have a diamond face if your forehead is narrow, your cheekbones are prominent, and your chin is V-shaped. For short hair, add volume to the temples while avoiding too much volume on the cheekbones. Then, add volume around the jawline. Medium-length hairstyles swept back with movement are ideal.
"A woman with a diamond face is said to be generous, kind and loves people."
You have a trapezoid face if your forehead is narrow, your jaw is wider, and your face is as long as it is wide. Add a bit of volume to the temples and let the length of your hair exceed the jawline. You can opt for a short bob just above the base of the trapezoid or tied-up hairstyles. For face-framing strands, consider an asymmetrical cut.
"A woman with a trapezoidal face is said to be shy, discreet and determined."
You have a triangular face if your forehead is wider and your chin is pointier, creating a triangular shape. Often referred to as a heart-shaped face, simply add some volume to the top of your head. Avoid volume at the temples, but add slight volume to the sides and around the jawline. Long or medium-length hair is often ideal for this face type.
"A woman with a triangular face is said to be unpredictable."
